Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
Better policies for better lives
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an international organisation that works to build better policies for better lives. Our goal is to shape policies that foster prosperity, equality, opportunity and well-being for all. Together with governments, policy makers and citizens, we work on establishing evidence-based international standards and finding solutions to a range of social, economic and environmental challenges. Beyond its membership of 38 countries, the OECD work with over 100 countries worldwide to find joint solutions to common challenges, which have become even more pervasive in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The OECD supports the process of the Dialogue of the two Shores through the MENA-OECD Initiative on Governance and Competitiveness and stands ready to provide expertise in support of the projects developed under the D2S.
